10 Reasons to go to CSU AG Day

Labor Day weekend is almost here and there’s plenty to do in Fort Collins.  The annual Tour de Fat is on Saturday, but there is also a fantastic opportunity to interact with Fort Collins’ agricultural roots. This is CSU’s 34th Ag Day year and you shouldn’t miss the opportunity to experience it. #CSUAgDay

1. It’s a deal! Advance tickets are $17 for a full plate of BBQ and $20 for a football ticket. Where else can you have a meal and fun for $37??!! Best buy in advance because BBQ is limited.

2. Opening of CSU football season. Wear Orange for Orange-out!

3. Proceeds from BBQ provide 12-15 scholarships to Colorado State University agriculture science students.

4. The weather will be perfect!

5. The food is fantastic and is Colorado’s premier BBQ event. Fill your plate with beef, pork, lamb, potatoes, beans, salad and ice cream.

6. Beer is available to purchase.

7. Farm-themed activities for kids.

8. Learn about Colorado agriculture and sustainability from ag students and staff.

9. Live music.
